Other than Lebrons dominance and some fancy shooting by J.R Smith here and there they aren't as full bodied as Golden State. They've had a very easy run in the East and beating the Hawks should have been even easier than it was. Brooklyn probably gave the Hawks just as much trouble in some games. Traveling to the bay is going to be by far the hardest task the Cavs have been faced with so far and Golden State will be happy to send a message. Golden State have been absolutely dominant this series.. this post season..this season.... Chef Curry is the best player on the planet and impossible to guard. Andrew Bogut seems to be playing out of his skin and running high on confidence at the moment aswell. Paint or perimeter? Golden State don't care they're going to score either way. Houston find themselves in a win or go home situation sitting 0-3 and that might be the catalyst they need to get this one done. We've seen the under/over game total drop from 220 to 218 to 215 now starts at 212.5. Under has been paying out like no ones business off the back of some poor offence from the Rockets, struggling to post 100. I think tonights situation wakes this Rockets team up tonight and while the point spread is a hard pick, the OVER is well overdue and should be easy money!

The Hawks are in so much trouble it hurts to watch in this one. This season the Hawks outscored their opponents by 60 points with Kyle Korver on the floor, and were outscored by 30 without him. On top of that the only player they have to guard Lebron James seems to be a shadow of himself with that hyperextended knee. On top of THAT, they just lost convincingly on their home court WITHOUT Kyrie Irving even getting dressed for the Cavs. The only way the Cavaliers don't cover this 9 point line is if they leave out Kyrie and play in low gear seeing this series is as good as done. I think the Cavs want nothing more than to sweep the Hawks and get all the rest they can before they face Golden State. Atlanta will need to change their game style without the catch and shoot of Korver. I think this game will come out in a faster pace than usual and expect a big game from Jeff Teague. Not big enough though....

Houston Rockets take on the Golden State Warriors for the first time at home this series tonight..

The Rockets have put up a hell of a contest so far, easily covering the double digit spreads they've been dealt in the first two games of the series. They're 2-0 ATS and this time only slightly out of favor with the bookmakers at +1.5. Although, I'm still liking the look of the Warriors.. This team is a monster and one of the best line-ups the NBA has seen in the past few years. They have shown absolute dominance against the Rockets for periods, then gone cold somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd quarter and failed to make easy buckets. I'm still a big believer that the Warriors are going to start playing in their dominant fashion but avoid the momentary game lapses that have brought these games closer than the handicappers expect. If you watch a lot of NBA you would know if any team deserves your confidence, it's Golden State..

Game 1 showed moments of both teams at their best. The Hawks came out firing and shot over 70% in the first quarter. Things were looking ominous for Lebron and the Cavs, until they started playing some basketball of their own to bring it back level. Then, J.R Smith took the game into his own hands and orchestrated the 13-0 run to start the 4th quarter that put the nail in the coffin for the Hawks. It would be crazy to think the Cavs could come along and take both away wins from the number 1 seed to start the series, but that might just happen. If Demarre Carroll doesn't play with his knee sprain the Hawks are in big trouble. The Cavs will be able to run a "pick and roll" all day long and that leaves the Hawks with the conundrum of either giving Lebron an easy shot or pulling their bigs away from the hoop and leaving the inside exposed. Millsap is a mismatch for Lebron in terms of speed and acceleration.

With Demarre Carroll the Hawks averaged 105.6 points per 100 possessions, without they averaged 92.6. Thats worse than the Philadelphia 76ers, who were the worst shooting team in the NBA this season..

 Keep an eye out for Carrolls status, if he doesn't play the Hawks will go 0-2..

The games between these two have always been expected to include goals and a lot of them. Aside from a mediocre offensive showing which saw the Rangers win 2-1 in game 1. Game 2 and 3 had 8 and 11 goals respectively. The line is still sitting at over/under 5 goals and I think you'd be crazy to not continue riding that streak. Both teams are scoring regularly and a tight series always offers the chance of overtime or a sneaky open net goal.

The Blackhawks are a monster at home and have been all season long but i'm still not convinced that they're a better team than the Ducks. For that reason I can't pick a winner in this game, but I see value in the game total. The Chicago defense is solid on the power play and the Ducks struggled to score at home. Additionally, Chicago scored twice in the first 7 minutes of the 1st period yet the total still didn't manage to go over the line. Last time out, Houston came out firing to send a message to the Warriors in game 1. Hitting a lead of 14 in the second quarter, a lot of the handicappers were left scratching their heads. That was until Golden State woke up and became themselves again turning that deficit into an 11 point lead by the start of the fourth.

Key facts about the game that should be considered when betting on game two:

What would have happened had the Rockets not gained that 14 point cushion?

Can James Harden replicate the dominant performance he pulled out in game 1?

Will the Rockets small line up be able to achieve what they did again?

Their defense at some points was nothing short of pathetic and struggled to operate any offensive potency. The Cleveland Cavaliers however, have been more convincing as their momentum has continued and continued from only a few months ago when they were a sub 500 team.  If the Hawks defense couldn't contain a Wizards offence consisting of a 75 year old Paul Pierce and absent of John Wall, how could they expect to stop Lebron and Kyrie? Tampa Bay bounced back to win away from home against the Rangers last night, but I'm not entirely sure the Blackhawks can do the same. No doubt you can expect the Hawks to come out firing to try and get the early lead and defend it, but the ducks have just been too good in all areas so far. Game 1 the Hawks fired a lot of shots, but not a lot of good ones. Anaheim contrasted that perfectly by scoring 4 of their 27 shots on goal. They are the top seed for a reason, their defense has contained the best of them, offensively they've scored more goals than any other team in the playoffs at 3.9 a game and to wrap it all up they have yet to lose any of their 6 home ice games this post season. All of the stats and numbers lean towards another Ducks win here..

The Stanley Cup continues tonight with Tampa Bay trying to level the series. The last time the Rangers hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning, most expected a high scoring affair given the offensive potency of both teams. That didn't turn out to be the case as the game finished 2-1 off the back of great defensive efforts and some shockers of missed chances.

So the bookies have dropped the Under/Over total by .5 and offered up a nice $2.40(+140) for the over. Last time out over 5.5 paid $1.87(-113) was the favoured of the two. Now you can grab that same original 5.5 line but the over is paying $3.35(+235). Same teams, same place, but the line of 5.5 has gone from 1.87 to 3.35 (-113 to +235). Crazy value in that stat alone. The last game had 54 total shots on goal, all but one of the penalties were killed, and on top there weren't all that many penalties to begin with. I can't see game 1 being an indicator that these teams aren't going to score regularly.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final starts in New York after the Rangers came back from 3-1 to end the Capitals season.

The Rangers start heavy favourites against Tampa Bay given the confidence they carry into this one and the advantage playing in the Garden boasts.

However, Tampa Bay have been solid all season long and come into this one with far more rest than the Rangers. Additionally, TB are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings and 4-1 in their last 5 road games. Getting $2.23 for a white hot, more rested team that has no problem traveling seems a gift.

 The long 7 game series took its toll on the New York Rangers and will show tonight!

Tonight the Hawks travel to Washington to try and close out the series. The line is at 2.5 favoring the Wizards and if you look at the numbers, this one should be an easy cover. The Wizards have been by far the better team this series and lost the last game off a last minute clutch play by the Hawks all WITHOUT John Wall. The Wizards defense has smothered the Hawks so far and the return of John Wall is only going to make things worse for Atlanta. Confident here.
