State Of Origin Preview - Queensland v NSW Game 2
After grinding out a 1 point win last time around I think Queensland will be ready to go and get a win again in game 2. These games are always tight and low scoring, but at the end of the day the Maroons just have too many play makers to stop. Hard to see any State of Origin team winning by 13+ given the class, so 2.60 for Maroons 1-12 is a great bet!

Going head to head, both fighters are extremely well rounded. The power and strength of Hendo and Boetschs striking will keep them on their feet, but neither fighter is a mug on the ground either. Berdych is clearly the better tennis player, but theres more to it than just paper records. History will show that Paire prefers the pace difference in comparison to hard court matches and plays the back hand drop shot better than most(Including Berdych). In a game where there should be a lot of backhand rallies, I can easily see Benoit covering the giant handicap headstart...

Origin is back! The Queensland Maroons will be keen to set the record straight after New South Wales got the better of them in 2014.
It's no secret that both teams come into this one with a passion that mostly derives from the pure loathing of their opponents. Queensland have dominated the history of this clash and the Blues victory last year was their first in 9 origin series. There's no doubt that the Blues have the best of the youngsters tonight, but the greats of the game are stacked up in the Maroons line up. The best chance for NSW to get up is in a low scoring forward battle to negate the damage that the Maroons playmakers are capable of. But honestly, there's just too much talent and with Billy Slater and Johnathon Thurston orchestrating the Blues will be left wanting....

The Hawks are in so much trouble it hurts to watch in this one. This season the Hawks outscored their opponents by 60 points with Kyle Korver on the floor, and were outscored by 30 without him. On top of that the only player they have to guard Lebron James seems to be a shadow of himself with that hyperextended knee. On top of THAT, they just lost convincingly on their home court WITHOUT Kyrie Irving even getting dressed for the Cavs. The only way the Cavaliers don't cover this 9 point line is if they leave out Kyrie and play in low gear seeing this series is as good as done. I think the Cavs want nothing more than to sweep the Hawks and get all the rest they can before they face Golden State. Atlanta will need to change their game style without the catch and shoot of Korver. I think this game will come out in a faster pace than usual and expect a big game from Jeff Teague. Not big enough though....

Things were looking ominous for Lebron and the Cavs, until they started playing some basketball of their own to bring it back level. Then, J.R Smith took the game into his own hands and orchestrated the 13-0 run to start the 4th quarter that put the nail in the coffin for the Hawks. It would be crazy to think the Cavs could come along and take both away wins from the number 1 seed to start the series, but that might just happen. If Demarre Carroll doesn't play with his knee sprain the Hawks are in big trouble. The Cavs will be able to run a "pick and roll" all day long and that leaves the Hawks with the conundrum of either giving Lebron an easy shot or pulling their bigs away from the hoop and leaving the inside exposed. Millsap is a mismatch for Lebron in terms of speed and acceleration.
With Demarre Carroll the Hawks averaged 105.6 points per 100 possessions, without they averaged 92.6. Thats worse than the Philadelphia 76ers, who were the worst shooting team in the NBA this season..
Keep an eye out for Carrolls status, if he doesn't play the Hawks will go 0-2..
